I had reached out to Eric as an out-of-town buyer looking to buy a specific property I had found in the area, and there are so many different reasons that am so glad that I stumbled upon him.For one thing, I'm impressed with his knowledge of the area. I could quickly tell that this was "his turf", and that he knew the local market, and the players in the market well.And there were many instances where he would go above and beyond to ensure the transaction progressed forward and went smoothly. In one case we ran into a potential issue with some easements, and even though the issues were technically the seller's responsibility to resolve, he was all over it, contacting the people that needed to be contacted and even showing up for an early morning meeting with the appropriate people to ensure that the issue was resolved.There is naturally a lot of stress trying to buy a home remotely, not being able to be there in person. But Eric really put my mind at ease, jumping in when needed to make sure everything was taken care of, before, during and even after the actual purchase.I was so impressed with him that I also decided to hire him as a property manager to help manage the property. It has really put my mind to rest knowing that I have someone like Eric there, who can drop by to take a look at the property, and who knows all of the people to call in case there are any problems.
