I am so grateful that this crazy process and milestone--our first home!--had Eric's guidance and support. We began looking in the few places where we could afford something in the immediate Bay Area: San Jose and Daly City. Eric's regional expertise in the South Bay and up the Peninsula quickly became apparent. As we shifted some of our attention to Fremont with its great schools and family-centered communities, we jumped on an opportunity there. Eric was ever-responsive, and this quality shone through again that day. We went to look at the place. That afternoon we learned an offer on the place was made and would expire within 24 hours. Eric and Amy are the best. I started my journey with them last year when selling my Los Gatos home. They took care of everything that needed to be done to most effectively market and prepare the house for sale, and negitiated an amazing sale within three days of listing. They hired a photographer, painter, landscaper, plumber, and stagers, and we didn't even have to pay the cost of photography and staging -- that came out of their budget. All I had to do was write checks for the repairs that needed to be done, and they were done quickly and with quality. Amy and Eric have an amazing network of outside professionals, not to mention their extremely helpful contacts when it came to escrow and title. Everyone was so helpful, easy to reach, and compassionate. But that's only part of the story. This year, after a short period where I rented, I bought a house with Eric and Amy. Eric was the primary agent this time, and he was knowledgeable about all of the areas I was interested in -- Willow Glen, Rose Garden, Naglee Park, South San Jose, and Communications Hill. We had a couple houses slip away (I didn't want to overpay). But the final house in Communications Hill, we knew we wanted this one and Eric even managed to negotiate a discount from the listing price in a competitive low-inventory market. The sale closed within 10 days and I think it was a win for everyone. When it comes to the ins-and-outs of a high-pressure escrow, you will not find a better team.
