We began looking in the few places where we could afford something in the immediate Bay Area: San Jose and Daly City. Eric's regional expertise in the South Bay and up the Peninsula quickly became apparent. As we shifted some of our attention to Fremont with its great schools and family-centered communities, we jumped on an opportunity there. Eric was ever-responsive, and this quality shone through again that day. We went to look at the place. That afternoon we learned an offer on the place was made and would expire within 24 hours. We made a counteroffer. This was the first offer we made on any place ever, and it was the winning offer! We couldn't believe it! Eric not only says all the right things, he has a disposition and the integrity to follow through on it. It's a disposition that's easy to trust. We are hardly clients with a budget that will bring in a huge commission even compared to the going rate of an average home in the Bay; nonetheless, Eric treated us with his full attention and responsiveness. He was an active listener throughout the process. If we wanted to try out some listings that may have been a less than wise decision, he didn't immediately shut down the idea, but explored it with us and left us the space to come to that conclusion ourselves. It felt like he was in tune with what we were looking for at every step of the way, and, for that, it was that much more comfortable acting fast on the opportunity in Fremont.
