One of the things I love about him is his unlimited patience. He will look at as many houses as you choose, keep your spirits up if you get dejected, and also keep you focused if you get a little off track while day dreaming of a house's potential. Blest is super responsive to calls/texts, very knowledgeable about all of the surrounding neighborhoods and one of the most positive people I've ever met. Noah and Emily are excellent communicators, well known across the Portland market, and the best hype squad! Ive sold two properties and purchased one with Michael and both experiences couldnt have worked out better. We handed Michael the reigns and he took care of everything! (cleaning, staging, photos, etc.) We will only use Michael for any home transactions and recommend him to all of our friends. The property we purchased Michael was able to negotiate exceptional terms for the purchase in a hot market, including seller paying all closing costs and for multiple repairs/updates. (Rare for the market) The first home we sold with Michael, he recommended staging specific rooms a certain way and we ended up selling in 3 days at $75k over asking. The second property, Michael was very helpful in explaining how we should prep the house (i.e. things we should fix or update, things we should stage, and I think most importantly things we should just leave as is) and we sold in 4 days at $200k over asking and a waived inspection!! Emily and her team, Noah and Shanti are incredible. They helped us sell our house in record time (4 days until it went to pending) and then helped us to buy our home which took a lot longer then selling (this market amirite?) The home shopping experience, which, I find exhasuting on a good day, was made worse by the fact that my Mother in law passed away during the home buying process and are family was tossed up in extreme grief and family turmoil. And we were houseless at the time. Noah and Shanti showed us ALL of the homes. I feel bad for all the mileage we put on their poor vehicles. Emily with all of her calm powerful knowledge and guru like zen approach to calming our fears during a very emotional buying process was exactly what our family needed. They were even sweet to our kids, helped us laugh through the pain of it all and even let us cry on their shoulders once...maybe twice.This was not our first home buying experience. We have had other real estate agents in the past. It is a rare find to have a real estate team that is this knowledegable and emapthic at the same time.
