We had lived in Clearwater for 5 years when we decided to initiate an active search to upgrade from a 2 bedroom condo to a 3 bedroom unit. My significant other and I spent over a year looking for a new homeaEUR| during a pandemic and in a sellers market. We worked with a couple different agents until we found Emil. Emil gave us the personal, prompt attention we needed. Every single time I texted Emil about a property, he was right there with great research and options for viewing property. We saw every property we wanted to see and Emil ALWAYS did ample research on every property and showed up with printed information, comparables, and a pen & clipboard (it seems like a small thing, but really it is HUGE). We put in multiple offers before we found our forever home, and through it all, Emil never let us get discouraged. When it came time to move forward with our forever home, Emil helped us secure inspectors, insurance brokers, etc. Emil worked hand in hand with our mortgage broker (someone he previously did not know) and with the title company chosen by the seller. Emil kept us on track and sent us little reminders during that SUPER STRESSFUL time between accepted offer and closing. Emil was there at closing and even followed up afterward to make sure we had everything we needed.Trust me when I tell you, my hubby and I are needy clients and made a lot of demands on Emil and on Emils time. Emil is the real estate agent that you want guiding you through the home buying process. We were expecting a baby and lived in Virginia while house hunting, which would have been an extremely stressful experience if we didn't have Emil to coach and guide us. Emils goal is not to make a sale but to ensure that you find a home. He started by getting to know us and our situation to best advocate and represent our desires and interests while searching for a home. We visited the area once in person, and Emil did a great job of maximizing our time there by helping us find the neighborhood that best fit our wants and needs and helping us determine exactly what we wanted in a home. After our visit, our ability to travel was limited and we had to rely on Emil to video chat us during walkthroughs of houses, and the eventual inspection of the home that we are purchasing. Emil reviewed all the details in the homes to ensure that everything, good or bad, was brought to our attention. His experience in the area enables him to connect us with other vendors (inspector, mortgage broker, home insurance, etc) who have all been extremely professional and have exceeded our expectations. This was by far the greatest advantage to a couple trying to navigate the home buying process from long distance.
