About twenty years ago, we (an architect and an artist) built an eco-home / weekend retreat on an eighty-acre forested property on the outskirts of a very isolated, unincorporated, mountainous community in the southeastern Sierras. When we recently decided to sell the property, we consulted with four aEURoelocalaEUR? realtors whose offices were based about an hour away. We feel very fortunate to have chosen Angela Vass-Rodriquez to represent our property. She dedicated at least a half-day to visit and understand our custom-built home, then to hike with us to to a higher altitude in order to appreciate multiple views from our property, and later to tour the outlying rural community in order to understand the challenges and perks of our particular region in the Sierras. You want someone who can professionally represent you, when necessary, throughout each stage of escrow. You want someone who is fun, polite and available. For us, Angela clearly possessed each of those qualifications. She is very special, and we were fortunate to have made the connection with her at the time we did. He represented both me the buyer and the seller who he obviously shown favor to and has worked with in the past. He wasn't knowledgeable about questions I asked or withheld information and I now wonder if he was aware of various defects that the seller didn't disclose to me before closing.
