We are first time homebuyers and could not be happier with the service Elise provided. We were on a very tight timeline to view houses and submit an offer. Elise took our list of homes and masterfully organized them to provide 14 viewings in one day, even scheduling last minute properties we wanted to look at the day of. This is aggressive by anyone's standards, but she worked tirelessly with us to maximize our time. We were new to the area and she drove us to all of the viewings, even bringing snacks and drinks for us and our 8 month old son. Before we even saw properties, she explained the current market pace to us in terms we could understand, which helped us in determining a reasonable offer. We were ready to put an offer in by the second day and she was more than able to accommodate. As first time buyers we had a lot of questions, but Elise patiently walked us through every step. She quickly responded to all our concerns and often got back to us with answers within the hour. Her knowledge of the process was impressive, and she was extremely professional. We used Zillow to track a lot of our properties and she led us to close in 30 days, which I understand to be rare in today's market (we could have closed sooner if not for seller requirements). We could not be happier with our overall home buying experience, for which a huge amount of credit goes to Elise. My wife and I had an OUTSTANDING experience with Elise during the purchase of our new home! After setting our house hunting dates and providing an outline of what we were looking for, we flew in from Japan and in the first 48 hours we looked at 16 different homes covering our price range within Larchmont, Colonial Place, and Oceanview. Elise is young, energetic, professional(!), incredibly knowledgeable of the area (thanks to multiple military tours with her husband in Norfolk), and works for what I perceive to be the top real estate company in Norfolk (Nancy Chandler Associates). She did a fantastic job of keeping this very stubborn buyer on track, which I did not make easy for her! Throughout the purchase of our home she was one step ahead of all paperwork, inspections, and home repairs which kept us at ease as we had to return to Japan during the month long closing process. I never found myself waiting for an answer (despite the 13 hour time difference) and 100% of my requests were accomplished ahead of schedule. I will be recommending Elise to every friend moving into the area, emphasizing her professionalism and integrity throughout the home buying process!! More importantly, my wife and I have every intent to enlist Elise to sell our home in the future! Our experience could not have been better, bar none.
