I would recommend Elaine Stewart, she was extremely helpful as we did not know the areas at all, a lot of the areas we had chosen to look at homes were not the safest areas. She showed us the homes we had chosen and then she asked if she could show us the homes she thought we should be looking at. Of course we bought one of the homes she recommended. We are from Canada so anyone from Canada buying in the US should know about buying as tenants in common rather than buying in joint tenancy because of the dreaded estate tax on Canadians! Elaine was absolutely amazing. We didn't know her but liked her website. We sent an email to her and 6 other agents, saying we would be in town for 5 days and wanted to see house in 4 different communities. Immediately Elaine started sending us pictures of homes (none of the other agents responded) She told us she would make sure she would be available for us, and that she was. Each day we would start out reviewing the homes for sale, we would pick out 7-10 homes we wanted to see, she would make all the arrangements and off we'd go. She was always friendly, funny, yet very professional and never ONCE got pushy with us wanting us to put in an offer. On the last day we put in an offer which fell through, so we extended our stay and sure enough we found another home, put in an offer and later that day we were proud new home owners in an upscale country club. After the offer was accepted she guided us through all the closing procedures, recommended trade people and it was like we had known her for years.
