Elaine was born in Jacksonville to a military family. Her dad was in the Navy, so she grew up in many states and countries all around the world! All of that relocating has made her a whiz when it comes to relocating families to the Jacksonville area! She has lived in northeast Florida since 2011. Elaine earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. She attended the University of West Florida and the University of Florida throughout her educational journey. With 10 years of experience in education, Elaine knows schools and what to look for in choosing the right schools for your family. She was formerly a teacher, district math coach, and assistant principal. With over $4 million in sales last year, Elaine is a licensed Realtor who is ready and willing to help with whatever your real estate needs are!

1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
My advice to buyers is to interview real estate agents and loan officers to see which one is the best fit for them. It is important to have a team by your side that you trust and you know will help lead you through the process!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
When selling, my advice would be to declutter and depersonalize the home as much as you can! This allows buyers to visualize themselves in the home.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I've worked with all kinds of customers! Between first time home buyers, vacation home buyers, military families, condo buyers and sellers, I've enjoyed helping buyers and sellers make their real estate goals a reality.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Recently, I had a family close on a cute pool home. This family struggled to get to closing. We had been working together for 2 years to find a home. They struggled with credit, because of a tough medical history, and finding them a home seemed like a faraway cream. The loan officer and I worked together over the years to help bring them to a point where we could finally close on their perfect home! It was such a joy to work with them and help them finally get into a place of their own!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
With a background in education, it has always been important to me to own property. I would often tell my teacher friends to go buy a house and stop renting! Eventually, I started doing real estate on the side and I realized how much I loved educating customers on the process and benefits of home ownership. It was a natural segway into my real estate career!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
My background is educational leadership, so I am skilled at keeping everything organized and moving forward. I also grew up in a military family, so I understand the ways of the military move. I am a great listener and am a pro with technology, so I use that to help me narrow down your home search and find you a great home!
