My sister and I worked with Elaine to sell my father's house in Manalapan. Elaine was an amazing agent to work with - not only were my sister and I were not based locally, but our aging dad is a very difficult person to work with. Elaine was able to navigate the mutliple time zones with ease (my sister, my dad, and I are all in different locations), setting up video calls and managing repairs and maintenence to the house without us needing to be there. She has an extensive network of contractors, and was able to take an aging house and rework it in weeks within our budget. She has a great sense for what we invested repairs into, and kept us focused on what mattered to get the home sold. On top of all this, our dad is aging and can be generally "grumpy" - he wanted to sell the house, but was also easily overwhelmed. Elaine did a great job communicating clearly with him, walking him through what needed to be done each step of the way and taking the time to answer his (many, many, many) questions. Her patience with him was simply amazing, as I can imagine others may not be willing to take the time to work with someone like him. At the end of the day, Elaine sold our house well above asking, and very quickly. In just a week, we had 30+ showings, and were in contract shortly after. She handled the buyer negotiations effectively and professionally, providing guidance on how to respond and proceed as different questions came up.
