1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Be prepared, begin by speaking with a good lender and ask about loan programs.
If possible try to get pre-approved before you begin the house hunt, this will help you be ready but most importantly, you will know what monthly payments are and how much down they will require from you.
Know before you owe.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Make sure you establish trust with the person you select to work with.
Ask these simple questions:
1- How many homes have you sold in the past 12 months.
2- Show me past clients reviews/references
3- What makes you different than any other real estate professional.
From the answers they give you, it should be clear if you are dealing with a doer and a solid person or the opposite.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I've been privileged to represent people from all backgrounds, and I have been fortunate to be part of so many changes in people's lives.
From first time home buyers, sellers, short sales, investors, foreclosures, relocation buyers/sellers, and many more.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Most recently we represented a seller who had relocated to another state and she left us with the keys and signed listing agreement.
We worked hard to bring her top dollar for the property, but the market did not perform.
We suggested to her that she lease the property for 2 years and she did so.
At the end of the lease term, we coordinated with contractors to get the house ready for re-listing.
We managed all of this for her, while she lived away without worrying about the stress of the sale.
We ended up selling the property on target as we had told her we would do.
This is one of many success stories we have to back up our performance and satisfied clients.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I first got into the business working as loan officer, and for many years I run my own mortgage and real estate brokerages.
This is what sets me apart from any other broker, I've been on both sides and I know exactly what to look for when solving contract managing problems.
At the present I only practice real estate, but utilize my lending experience to benefit my clients cases.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Again, the fact that I have extensive experience in the lending field gives me an advantage. I'm able to keep a sharp eye during the transaction process and inquire on buyer issues to prevent hold ups during the closing process.
I utilize 100% of my skills to benefit the party I represent at all times.
