This is from my daughter who is a very satisfied customer. I am so grateful for Doug. I have actually never met Doug in person. He was willing to take my basic property information over the phone. After he gathered all the information that he needed on my property he walked me through the process of listing it for sale. I really didnt have to do anything but ask questions when needed. He always responded the same day I contacted him. He informed me from the beginning that my property would take a little longer to sale because of where it was located. He was very honest with me up front. After a year and a half I was getting frustrated. He would inform me every time someone was interested in it and then inform me as to why they werent interested in it anymore. I was never in the dark about what was going on. Unfortunately the pandemic happened and I started having health problems, not related to Covid. I was feeling hopeless because I knew my property was difficult to sell but he never gave up. He just asked for me to be patient a little longer. He said he would get it sold and he did. He followed through on his word, which is a hard characteristic to find in someone these days. Once again he did all the hard work. All I had to do was sign. I had no experience with any of this before and I had no idea what I was doing. I put all my trust into him and he guided me through the process. He never took advantage of the fact that I was clueless. He made it easy, smooth and fast. And all this was done through emails, phone calls and fedex. I am sad that we didnt have the opportunity to meet in person but I am very thankful for having him on my side during this process. I would recommend him as a real estate agent in a heartbeat. He isnt just a good realtor, he is a good and honest human being. His family, close friends and customers are lucky to have him.
