While I would have appreciated his help in any circumstances, I'm especially grateful that he was able to help me find a house I liked (in my price range) in a sellers' market on relatively short notice. Specifically:House selection/offers:House availability fluctuated throughout the search due to low inventory in my desired area. Throughout that time, Gus was both proactive and flexible, finding homes that met my interests while also quickly reaching out to realtors so that we could visit other houses I liked. Gus consistently worked to get us timely showings, even in popular homes that attracted dozens of prospective buyers. As a first-time home buyer, I especially appreciated his candid assessment of properties: their value, their more concerning features, and work needed to transform the house I would buy into the house I ultimately wanted to own. ZillowVERIFIEDGus knew that I was nervous about selling my house and dealing with my ex-husband, he took the time to explain the entire process start to finish with both of us. I had listed the house previously with another realtor and she grossly exaggerated what I could sell the house for. He didnt try and sugar coat things to get my business he was honest, which is a rarity these days. Gus came in, priced it appropriately, arranged photos and 36 hours later I had an offer. Even after the checks were cut he still was there to help with getting the yard mowed and delivering a back ordered shutter. He went above and beyond!
