I called a number of realtors in the area twice, but not a single person answered. I texted one and left a voicemail message for another. Only one person called back -- Melissa Vallelunga. I explained to Melissa I live out of state and was considering purchasing a house in the area. I told her I would be in CA that following weekend, but that I realized it was a holiday weekend. I left it up to her to decide if she would be available to show me some properties, which she did. Although Melissa had prior plans with family that weekend, she nonetheless showed me some properties. She was resourceful in providing some of her knowledge of the areas I was considering.I made an offer on a property the following Monday. Melissa was prompt in responding to my needs and inquiries. I am highly energetic and excitable. Melissa endured some high-energy demands from me and handled every one of them in a professional manner. .I also found her to be grounded and straight-forward in communicating with me. I do not appreciate conducting business with those who cannot be direct with me or appear deceptive. I felt very comfortable working with Melissa and trusted her input. Furthermore, Melissa went above and beyond her realm of duty in several ways, one of which was by repeatedly returning to the property for my miscellaneous requests. Real estate purchase is stressful. Doing it while out of state makes it that much more difficult. Knowing Melissa was willing to assist in every way I needed gave me some sense of comfort. She was there even after closing on the house, sending her husband to help me resolve a problem and providing other sources I had requested for other needs. Thank you, Melissa, for all your help and accommodating my needs! I truly appreciate all your help and holding my hands through the process.

Diane (and her husband Tim) were wonderful to work with as we navigated the challenge of buying our first second home in the Twain Harte area.
