Diana was born and raised in Colombia, South America, came to the United Estates very young and graduated in Naples High school. A few years later earned an associate of arts in business administration and marketing from the Edison Community College, and a major in communication and advertisement from University of South Florida USF; Simultaneity, Owned and develop the Hispanic newspaper Nuevos Ecos, along with Estilo Florida, Hispanic Real Estate magazine. Late in 2004, she began her career in real estate; serving the median and low-income families, helping them to find a place to call home. Since then, she specialized in government loans, county down payment and housing assistance, as well as the Florida hardest hit Programs. Diana is a self-motivated and passionate about helping others; actively involved as a volunteer in different non-profit organizations and well recognized by the media for her strong media/ marketing background. On 2007 after the housing market crashed in SW Florida, she specialized in the management of distress assets and the mitigation process for short sales transactions. She established a strong relationship with lenders and financial institutions who far along in her career trusted her the management of their assets and made her one of the top ten distress/REO listing agents in Collier County. Today, she still handles distress properties, but now she has a team of twelve real estate agents who cover seventeen counties on the East and West coast of South Florida. 3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I handle a diversity market from tenants who are looking to purchase their first home, international, out of the estate and local buyers and sellers, lending institutions which I represent with their foreclosures assets to the waterfront and community homeowners who are in the need to sell to relocate to new markets, or simply to reduce or increase their home size.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently work with a Canadian seller who owned a second home condo for fifteen years in Naples, he decided to sell and at the same time relocate in to a different market. I was able to sell his condo in 23 days after listed and deal with his fripta paperwork thought the process, while we look for a nicer single family at a golf community in a neighbor city. we successfully closed both transactions in the same day and the process went very smooth.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
while the new construction market was booming on 2005/2006 and my family and I invested in few income generated properties and at the same time my husband was a successful mortgage Broker. We feel the need of a real Estate license. Was then when I decided to explore this career without thinking that I was going to love and enjoy doing it as much as I do.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes, I love working with sellers and buyers and I consider that one of my biggest talent is negotiate in their behalf; also, I enjoy planning a variety of marketing strategies to maximize exposure of their home to the fullest using techniques like video marketing and social media production, I love technology and I can proof my success when it comes to marketing and communications.
