Dezerae Poole is a long-time resident of Linn County, KS. Dezerae is married to Corey Poole, who was born and raised in Mound City, KS. They have three children and reside in rural Linn County.Her and her husband have built two local businesses - Poole Paint & Body and Linn County Dance & Cheer. She is an active part of her community, schools and youth activities. As a knowledgeable local business owner and community leader her skills to effectively and efficiently communicate, negotiate, and advocate on behalf of her clients and customers is what sets her apart. She has worked with buyers, sellers, investors, and businesses in the buying and selling of real estate since 2006, taking some time off to grow her family between then and now. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
To have a lender and a preapproval letter ready. I can help you get set up with a lender and be ready to make an offer when you do find the home you are wanting. In today's fast paced market, being ready to make an offer, and being preapproved is a must in order to secure a contract.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
To have your agent price your home correctly. It is important to know what similar properties have sold for and what they are currently listed for. Also, to choose an agent that answers your question, calls, emails, etc.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with Sellers, first time home buyers, investment buyers, business owners, farmers, small families, VA buyers, USDA buyers, commercial sellers
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently had a transaction for a first-time home buyer. She was wonderful, but nervous. She had never thought she would get to be called a homeowner. I spent time with her going thru her documents needed to get pre-approved, putting together proof of rent and other pieces of paperwork her lender needed during the underwriting period, and talking her thru every part of the buying process. On the day she closed I was so proud of her. She truly deserved that house and has turned into a home full of love.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I first started in real estate at the age of 19 (2006), I can tell you things have changed a lot for me since then. I wanted a career that let me help people, let me be in front of people, but something that wasn't the same from day to day. I enjoy my job and love when my clients become friends along the way.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am small business owner as is my husband (I own a dance studio, and he owns an autobody shop). We also own a small farm and raise cattle. I
