We recently purchased a home in Avon CT with Derek's help. If you've shopped for a house you know the feeling you get as you browse the different sites and deal with multiple agents. You quickly get lost in the myriad of sites and agents whom you see for a property and then never again. That's how we stumbled on Derek. From the get go he was very organized, responsive and professional. He stuck with us from that day and after seeing 30+ properties we found the one we eventually bought. We were coming from out of state and with Covid delays had to manage our two sales at once. Derek proved to be patient, knowledgeable on not only the Real Estate process in CT but in NY as well. He expertly negotiated the three extensions we required to complete our purchase. He talked us down off the ledge on multiple occasions when the stress of the process was getting to us. Through it all he was great to work with. I hope to not have to buy/sell again but if I do I would definitely work with Derek again. If you're looking for a realtor I doubt you could do better than Derek.

Its difficult to put into words how attentive Derek was to us throughout our home buying experience. He was available to us at crazy times of the day - morning and night aEUR" and 7 days a week. I still dont know when this man sleeps! Derek was very patient with us and never pushed us into viewing homes we werent interested in. He has a way of making you feel as if youre his only customer (although with the booming real estate market we knew he had a lot going on). A failed inspection caused us to back away from our first home closing. It was heartbreaking. Derek maintained his positivity, told us we would find our perfect home & that we did! To add to all of this it was my fiancA(C) and my first time buying a house. Derek educated us each step of the way from viewing, making an offer, to inspections, backing out of an offer, to handing over the keys on our final walkthrough.
