ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I met Debbe through a Zillow listing. She was the agent who showed up to show us the house we wanted to see after clicking on "contact Zillow agent." I frankly wasn't expecting much from her but boy was I surprised. She blew me away with her calm, analytical demeanor, and she made suggestions about how to think about our next house that I had never thought of or heard from any other agent. We ended up asking her to show us other houses, too. She is honest about the condition of a property and its suitability for you as the buyer. There isn't a bit of "push" or self-interest in her approach; she always made us feel that she had our best interests at heart. We also discovered that she is a highly skilled negotiator. She used her calm, forthrightness to negotiate a deal for us even though our initial offer was about $85,000 below the seller's initial listing price. I am a first time home buyer, so having her made the process seem less overwhelming since she is very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process. If I had any questions, she was happy to answer them in a timely manner. Even if she couldn't be there at some of the appointments, she made sure someone else on her team was there. I was originally looking at condos in the city because they were in my price range, but she helped me realize that a stand-alone house further from the city in a growing neighborhood would be a better investment. I couldn't imagine going through this without a realtor, and I would definitely work with Debbe again in the future.
