We interviewed several realtors in the Barrington area and the formula was the same. Make everything white, stage the house at your expense....and sell at below market so their percent to asking ratio is in the high 97% or better. We had a very specific area in mind; wanting to downsize from an almost 7,000 sf home to something much more manageable. The market spike was over, but our subdivision was still very hot.
