I have bought and sold 5 houses in my lifetime and never did I have such a disappointing, misleading, and unknowable real agent as Tammy. I never felt for one instance that she was representing us the buyers. She was only looking to sell a home. For starters she advised us that the home we were going to preview had a porch AND an out door fireplace. She sent us a picture of it. It was beautiful except when we visited the home it not only lacked both, but have an ungodly Pergola. We were told the owner wanted 400,000. Tammy recommended we offer 415,000. This was being sold before it went on MLS. The house had few upgrades snd probably even during these crazy times more than 375,000. We trusted Tammy and being desperate and stupid we wrote a contract for 415,000. It wasnt necessary. If we truly wanted a strip down home we could have gotten it for 400,00 or even less. It was an all cash deal. And if all that wasnt enticing enough for the sellers, Tammy told us to waive inspection and appraisal. Yes we were stupid but that is why you hire an agent to look out for your interest. Tammy did not.

Lara knows the Waxhaw area very well. However, she didnt go above and beyond. It was almost as if we didnt have an agent at all. We were stuck communicating with the builder ourselves. There was no agent to go through the final walkthrough with us.
