Our experience working with Steve was fantastic from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable, a very clear and prompt communicator, and a fun and friendly person who is a joy to work with. As first time home buyers, Steve provided the top-notch guidance that we needed. He clearly explained each part of the process and what to expect while answering all our questions without making us feel silly for our ignorance. He was also able to recommend first-rate lawyers and home inspectors to help us through the process. While touring homes, his construction/carpentry experience really shone through as he was able to bring a critical eye to all manner of things we would have missed otherwise. When it came time to make of offer, Steve went far above and beyond anything we expected. He was very generous with his time walking us line-by-line through each document, fielding our questions, and just being there to talk things through. He was very accommodating with our schedules (we both work full-time 9-5 jobs), sometimes working into the night and at one point even from the ER! His efforts to get our offer negotiated and submitted in a timely manner helped us put our best foot forward on a property we were very excited about. When we ran into some issues prior to closing due to the sellers non-compliance with the purchase and sale agreement, Steve was totally on top of things. He kept in constant touch with the seller to hold them accountable to their side of the agreement and provided us with regular updates and guidance on how to navigate the situation. He ultimately made sure that everything was taken care as quickly as possible and that the home was in good condition when the purchase went through. It was an absolute pleasure working with Steve and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an agent.

It was great working with Steve. We chose him because he has expertise in how houses are built and maintained which was very useful on our house hunt in Somerville. He taught us how to spot concerns and gave us a good idea of what upgrades would be possible on the houses that we saw (e.g., skylights).
