I found my house and my Real Estate Agent, David Shea, through my Zillow app. I just saw the house, I don't think any one had viewed it yet even. I didn't live in the immediate area, though I am familiar with the area. David let me know a few things that I wasn't aware of in the area, like this house sits in a flood zone. He has a lot of knowledge about the Aberdeen/Hoquiam area, that is very helpful for me to make an informed decision. David is a committed agent, when he gives his word, in my experience from working with him, he follows through on those promises made. Integrity and having the ability to be tenacious as well, is very important to me. David was my agent, he worked with me, as well as with the seller. David lined up the home inspector for me, and we discussed the issues found. David worked with the seller to get the work done. It took forever to get the work completed during the covid-19 pandemic, the contractors were back logged. David kept everyone informed of the progress, answered all of my many questions patiently, he helped me understand things that I didn't get. We hit a lot of road blocks a long the way, no one's fault-just life happens. David was a trooper, he hung in there, was tenacious, he never once gave up on me, or got discouraged over how long things were taking. We had to get extensions from the seller because repairs and the appraisal took so long to get done. David has good communication skills, he works hard for his clients. Even when my finance people were being difficult to work with and frying my last nerve, David would talk to them and everything just worked out. He had a voice of reason, he addressed issues and smoothed things over. We are finally closing on my house in 3 days now, of course this is after nearly 3 months in the works. I recommend David to any one who needs an honest, knowledgeable and reputable agent with good communication skills. David renews my faith in the integrity of what it means to give your word, and follow through on it, no matter what it costs him to do so! David will always have my business if I ever need an agent again! He has my vote!
