David had a successful career as one of New York's Finest, retiring as a Sergeant in 2002 after responding to the 9/11 World Trade Center tragedy and losing his partner. David then directed his focus and energy fully into real estate and is now the CEO of The Legaz Team where he believes that every transaction must be a Win-Win! The Legaz Team quickly became one of the top teams in the New York City & Long Island, selling a home every 5 days where honesty and integrity remain their core principle. David implemented technology systems, created websites that enhanced the selling and buying process that built trust, confidence, and positive results for their clients. David, and his partner and wife Nancy, are investors in 2 Queens Keller Williams(R) Realty brokerages with over 700 agents speaking over 35 different languages and dialects. David is the 2021 NYS Association of REALTORS(R) (NYSAR) President where he advocates in Washington DC and Albany as the voice for the homeowner protecting private property rights. He was the 2017 Long Island Board of REALTORS(R) President and their REALTOR(R) of the Year in 2014. David has been a NAR Director since 2013 and a NYSAR Director since 2012.
