About Dave Mattes

Dave Mattes, a native of Berks County Pennsylvania, has been in the real estate business since 1995 when he began his career at a local real estate firm in Sinking Spring. He then became a Buyer Specialist with a prominent real estate team at RE/MAX of Reading. Working as a Realtor for 23+ years, as well as 5 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer, he has helped a tremendous number of individuals and families buy and sell properties of all types. Along with his wife Mel, he now runs The Dave Mattes Team at RE/MAX of Reading, which consists of 5 agents and 2 amazing assistants. The team consistently helps 130+ families and individuals on a yearly basis with their real estate needs. In addition to being a Realtor, Dave is a past president of the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors (2015), Leadership Berks Grad (2010) and his whole team is very focused on volunteering and giving back to the community. Dave got it done!!! I must say in my situation Dave absolutely went above and beyond!! As I was an out of state owner. My brother and sister-in-law recommended Dave to me to sell my parents house. My brother contacted Dave and we had a meeting. We made an appointment with him to come to my parents house. He told us what needed to be fixed, cleaned up. He told me who to contact to get rid of furniture, knickknacks, everything they accumulated over the years. He was polite, courteous, and personable. I did not know where to begin, but with his help everything worked out fine.
