We worked with Anthony House (appropriately named!) as our buyers agent for our first home buying experience. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy a home! From the beginning, he was extremely hardworking and responsive to every question we had. Even when he did not immediately know an answer, he would find out and get back to us very promptly. He always made an effort to be available - even making time to do counter offers during the week of Christmas (I wish he hadnt needed to do so, but it really shows his hustle!). His kind and patient advice carried us through the offering, inspecting, and negotiating phases, and we were able to close on what we consider the absolute best house of all houses (in our budget and size range). Also he made all the phone calls for scheduling inspections!! I'm a standard millennial terrified of phone calls and people, so that was a huge bonus I didnt know about. What I really loved was that there was never any real pressure to go above our budget or rush into any decisions. Anthony consistently checked in right up to closing to make sure the vibes were still good and we had no regrets. He was completely transparent about everything in the process, even selflessly giving advice on some possible sale routes that would not have netted him his commission (we did not go that route, but wow! I was impressed). We felt safe and well taken care of. As other reviewers mentioned, the assistance did not end at closing. Anthony is always ready with referrals. Oh thats the other thing - these folks have the numbers for some really great contractors, loan officers, tradespeople, and movers; thats like half the value of working with them! The other support folks we worked with at Dave Knight Real Estate (Maddy, Amber, Louise) were completely amazing through escrow. No question went unanswered (even my dumb ones), and they were not afraid to run down the listing agents team when things were needed! The team also hosts occasional buyers seminars that are so so informative and helpful. I highly recommend going to one of those to start off the search. You wont remember all of it, but it gives you the basis for a lot of the home buying jargon. Getting into this process was so extremely overwhelming, but Anthony and his team went beyond expectations to ease our anxious burden and help us achieve the American dream of homeownership for real!
