About Dave Fratello

Dave first came into real estate from outside as a critic, upset with the way business is often done and frustrated at the lack of good data for consumers. A self-professed "data nerd," Dave dedicated himself to helping to create a "smarter market" by publishing data, analysis, and inside information for all to see. Dave's long-running Manhattan Beach Confidential site made him a popular resource for buyers and sellers in the Manhattan Beach market. Since going into real estate full-time in 2012, Dave has kept his reputation for "telling it like it is" while at the same time becoming a top-producing local broker, generating $200 million in sales. Dave is a strong advocate for his clients, whether buyers or sellers. Bucking conventional real estate practices, two-thirds of Dave's business comes from working with buyers. He knows buyers often don't feel respected by other agents during their process, but Dave enjoys the long-term process of helping buyers to narrow down their wants and needs and find the perfect match. On listings, Dave insists on high-quality preparation and presentation, and he offers strong advice on how to time and price a property for maximum appeal and top dollar. Dave's goal has always been to do things differently and better than his competition. His past and present clients have described him as resourceful, patient, analytical, positive, and even fun. A Southern California native, Dave lived and worked in Washington D.C. before moving back to California in and settling in Manhattan Beach. Upon becoming an agent, he quickly built a reputation as a local expert, representing a sophisticated Manhattan Beach clientele. Dave lives in Manhattan Beach his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, fishing, swimming, hiking, going to the beach and maintaining a saltwater reef aquarium. With his wife, Jeanne, Dave also curates DigMB.com, a website that features insider's news and information on the Manhattan Beach community and everything it has to offer.

I recently listed my house in Manhattan Beach with Dave. From the beginning he very accurately (as it turned out) assesed the house in relation to the market conditions and developed a strategy to maxinmize the value of the house. We then worked together for a couple of weeks along with his various service providers to improve the appearance and therefore the value of the house. Dave was always available and helpful when needed. When the house was looking beautiful and was ready to market, Dave quickly pulled together a number of interested agents and potential buyers and succeeded in creating a multiple bid situation where the house was sold within 2 weeks for well above asking price, and probably above market price. I really enjoyed working with Dave and his team and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smart, positive, resourceful, and easy to get along with Real Estate partner.

Daves experience and knowledge of the market in Manhattan Beach and surrounding areas is unparalleled.
