I had never had a problem finding great tenants, but my last one moved out during COVID and suddenly no one wanted to live in Somerville and I was out several months rent. Not to mention the building was undergoing extensive renovations at the time -- new windows, new siding, new skylights, new roof, new front porch -- and looked like a living nightmare! I met Darcy in a networking group and she immediately jumped in to help me. She took over the listing, suggested simple improvements I could make to the condo, screened applicants, busted her butt to get people in the door, and reported on her progress regularly. When she finally had a good candidate, she suggested some creative terms I could offer them to get them to sign the lease...things I hadnt thought of on my own. They signed, and they are fantastic tenants. Also, she sends out really useful tips and info via email and snail mail, and she has a fun social media presence. I usually unsubscribe from marketing content, but hers is so helpful and enlightening that I open it every time. To say Darcy is savvy, persistent, and tenacious, is an understatement. I would hire her again in a minute!
