ZillowVERIFIEDWe just completed the purchase of our home in Oregon with the help of Danielle as our realtor. This was our third home purchase and by far was the best experience we have had with a realtor. We are moving out of state and reached out to Danielle several weeks before a planned trip for a week of house hunting. In those early conversations she gave us very real expectations of what we could expect price wise as well as recommendations are where to look based on what we wanted in a home and how to set ourselves up to be successful in the crazy market we are in.When it got closer to our trip we started narrowing down the properties we wanted to see and Danielle had a whole day of showing lined up for us on our arrival. Danielle is incredibly knowledgeable about the Portland market. We hadnt narrowed down to a particular area and wanted to look at neighborhoods all over the Portland metro area - from Portland proper down into Milwaukee, Lake Oswego, West Linn and out west into Beaverton and Tigard. She tirelessly took us all over town over multiple days and had great local knowledge about all the different neighborhoods we visited, which really helped us figure out where we wanted to be. She was also great at explaining what was likely to be a big vs. small issue with things we saw in homes that we werent sure about. She was able to help us understand things that are more common in Portland that we werent familiar with based on where we live today (everything from radon mitigation systems, to oil furnaces, to earthquake strapping a foundation, and more). When it came time to make an offer, she was very knowledgeable about how we can make an offer competitive in the current lightning hot housing market. We were fortunate enough to have our first offer accepted - and I dont think that would have happened without her advice. Within about 24 hours of our offer being accepted we had our home inspection (thanks to Danielles quick scheduling and connections), which meant we got to be there for it in person - which was huge for us as we currently live out of state. A few of the smaller inspections took place after we headed back home, which Danielle fully managed for us, with thorough and timely communication from her about how things were going. After the inspection period of the contract ended we found out one of the inspectors missed an issue (long story, but basically they missed an issue with the sewer line that needed repair). Because it was after the inspection period we couldnt negotiate it with the seller. Danielle went back to the inspection company, let them know that their error put us in this position and negotiated with them and was able to get them to agree to cover the cost of repairs in full (no cost at all to us!). Danielle stood up for us, made sure all parties were held accountable, and got the best possible outcome for us. On top of that, she is coordinating the work to get done before we move in, so it will be all complete when we get there - and we have full confidence in her managing this and making sure it is done right. Our purchase is complete and she is still going above and beyond to make this experience as easy as possible for us. All along the way Danielle kept us organized and on track and made sure we never missed a deadline. And to top it all off, she is enjoyable to be around and fun to work with. We had a lot of laughs while house hunting and over text once we were back home. If you are looking for a realtor in Portland, give Danielle a call. I was a first-time homebuyer and knew absolutely nothing about the process and Danielle was always happy to answer whatever questions I could think of and do so in a way that made it easy for me to understand. She really took the time to learn about me, what I was looking for in a home, and what type of budget I was looking to stay within. I never felt pressure to look at something outside my price range or to just settle on something I wasn't really in love with. She kept me up to date on new properties that came on the market that she thought would be a good fit for me and when I finally found the place that really checked all of the boxes, she was diligent about staying on top of things with the seller's agent, which I really think was helpful in eventually getting our offer accepted. Even after the deal had closed and I started moving in, she made herself available to help me with little issues that came up, like arranging to have a contractor come out on the weekend I got my keys because the smoke alarms would not stop beeping or helping me figure out which mailbox was mine without me having to try to unlock each one. Overall, I'm so glad that I ended up working with Danielle and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a realtor in the area.
