He took the time right from the beginning to establish what was important to me and made sure I understood the whole process. Paul routinely called to check in if for whatever reason we hadn't spoken in a few days (which I really appreciated, but he is extremely reachable on whatever communication style you prefer) . He specializes in first time buyers and is also an expert (and I do not use that term lightly) in the VA loan process and if he did not know an answer he found it and relayed it immediately.
