After extensively researching and seeking referrals for realtors in the Richmond area, I asked about five real estate agents to visit my grandmothers property to give me their assessment and suggested listing strategy. From my initial phone call with Daniel, I could tell that he really knew his stuff. He listened actively as I shared the situation and my goals for my grandmothers property. His responses were supportive and thoughtful. After that late evening initial call, Daniels follow-up by email was prompt, organized, and comprehensive. Right from the start, his professionalism and proactiveness stood out among the rest. When we met in person, Daniel arrived dressed to impress. What really sold me on working with Daniel was how he treated my grandmother and her home with the utmost respect. Although significant cleanup and repair would be needed to walk away with the number we were hoping for, Daniel treated us as though we were luxury clients preparing a million dollar listing. Once we signed with Daniel, he continued to communicate regularly and thoughtfully. His knowledge of the area, which repairs would generate the most returns, and his connections with local contractors proved invaluable. He truly went above and beyond to help first time sellers prepare a house for market. Once we were ready to list, Daniel did a walk-through with me, arranged photography including excellent drone shots, and provided a detailed pricing strategy. Im a detail-oriented person and usually take the lead on projects, but I actually felt totally comfortable with Daniel managing the sale of my grandmothers house because of his proactive style. It was amazing to work with a true professional who did not overlook any detail or fail to communicate any aspect of the selling process. The network Daniel has with other realtors helped us bring in offers and choose the best buyer for our situation. We ended up with multiple strong offers within a couple days. We accepted an as-is offer for $15k over asking price! Thanks to Daniels suggestions and connections, our updated home also appraised for more than we ever thought possible. As promised, Daniel continued to work hard to facilitate a smooth closing process, and within about 30 days from accepting an offer, we had the money in the bank. I cant thank Daniel enough for all the time he spent guiding us through the selling process. We were truly impressed with his evidence-based pricing strategy, active marketing, and commitment to keeping things moving along. In a market with far more realtors than houses for sale, it can be confusing trying to figure out who will best represent your family. For my grandmother, the sale of her home represented her only investment, a lifetime of hard work, and the possibility of retiring close to family. While it wasnt a luxury property, Daniel always recognized the massive significance the sale had for our family.
