We first worked with Dan and Cori a decade ago when they helped us find our dream home. Clear communication and knowledge of area neighborhoods made the our first home search seem easy. Where to begin.. Dan has become like family to us over the years. This is our third time having him represent us either buying or selling a home. He took the time to sit with us and set up a plan for what we want in listing our home. He was always prompt in responding to emails and giving as close to immediate responses on questions we had that needed further research. He made the showing schedule and offers received process as simple as possible. The photos of our home were immaculate and we appreciated the care that went into having an accurate representation of what our home offered. Even in this sellers market. He was just as diligent and thorough in helping us through this process. We were able to receive 20k plus over ask! My experience with Dan began late in 2020 while the US was still dealing with the pandemic. We put our condo on the market in CT and a family member in NC recommended Dan to me. Dan and I talked on the phone and he set me up to start receiving MLS emails in the areas of town I was interested in. Even though we had not officially met each other he called me on a regular basis to check in and see how the sale was going. I even asked him questions I probably should have asked my realtor in CT because he was willing to give me his opinion as an expert. My realtor did not do that. We finally sold the condo and moved to the Charlotte area. I had a very specific, narrow, area of town that I wanted to live in. A family was moving out of a house in that area so I talked to Dan about making an offer and he went to work on it immediately. The sellers didnt want to negotiate so we continued to look. I first met Dan in person when he showed me a house I in early April. He shared his philosophy of showing and reacting to houses which was excellent. He was knowledgeable about many aspects of the house including flooring, kitchen cabinetry, the roof, etc. that I knew nothing about. And he also talked to me about how to know youve found the right house. I felt very confident that he wouldnt let me buy a house that wasnt right for me. I found out through a family member living in the neighborhood that another house was going on the market. Dan got on the phone with the sellers realtor and we were the first people to see the house the day it went on the market! His advice and help through the offering phase was absolutely on target. We ended up getting the house in an amazingly tight market with at least 8 other people looking at it the same day. He monitored the closing phase, communicating with the sellers realtor and making sure things were going smoothly. Cori Ray in Dans office facilitated communicating with the attorneys and getting the documents signed and delivered during the closing. They were both always accessible within a short time of any call I made or email I sent. I never had to wait and wonder what was going to happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and actually missed talking to them once the closing was finished! They are knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. A great team that I knew was working for me!
