The Sweetbriar aEURoeNooo!aEUR? I said as I slapped the door with the palm of my right hand. I shook the door handle one more time and it confirmed that I was locked out. Realtors had been in and out of our family estate that had just been put on the market and listed for sale by Dania Massry. I was one of the four brothers who inherited the home from our recently deceased mother. I was living in the home during the purging and sell-off of our moms collection of furniture etc. Emotions manifested frequently and unpredictably as my brothers and I navigated the loss of our beloved mother and thoughts of selling her home that she had named aEURoeThe Sweetbriar.aEUR? The entry door between the garage and the kitchen had been locked by a realtor showing the house earlier that day. This was my only way in as my house key was now in the lock box hanging on the front entry door which I did not have access to. It was late, 10:00 pm, and I had just arrived at the house after a long day of work in Seattle, an hour away. I was tired and cold. I called my brother who lived nearby. No answer, so I texted Dania. aEURoeIll be right there,aEUR? she texted aEURoeI live ten minutes away.aEUR? aEURoeWow,aEUR? I thought, and relaxed. I waited outside as a white SUV pulled into the driveway. A casually dressed, suddenly removed from her home, attractive woman with dark shoulder length hair, got out of the vehicle. With an indistinguishable accent and a pleasant smile she said aEURoeHi I'm Dania, and you must be Jeff!aEUR? All was well. As was the entire process of selling a home that money could not put a price on representing our parents lifetime of memories, blessings, hard work and savings. Because of what the home meant to us, we listed the home higher than Danias expert advice. However, after her continuous showings, open houses and her gift of patience and balancing all the personalities involved in an estate sale, she devised a plan. Texts between the brothers ensued after hearing of Danias genius marketing move. Two hours later we received a group text from Dania stating that she had received a cash offer for our asking price. 15 days later the deal closed. Only heaven knows the energy and connection between Dania and The Sweetbriar. Thank you Dania
