I truly believe I am that person! My personal experiences of moving and my professional experiences of helping my clients buy and sell for over 15 years, helped me hone my negotiation skills. I've worked with clients from all walks of life: experienced investors to first time home buyers; civilians and active duty military; clients buying a home site-unseen from oversees; townhomes to luxury estate homes; land and build-to-suit. In over 15 years, I've helped just about every type of client and sold any amount of real estate.
I worked with a return client, which is always a wonderful experience and the biggest compliment you could get! After negotiating a great deal for them, we faced some challenges during the inspection phase. I am proud to say that I used my experience and negotiation skills to find a win-win for everyone and brought the transaction to a happy closing!
Due to my husband's career in the USMC, we were stationed in an area that was not ideal to use my degree and experience in hotel management. I had really enjoyed the process of purchasing our first home and thought it would be a good alternative career, as well as one I could take with me to a new duty station. Not once have I regretted that decision! I love selling real estate. No transaction is the same and I meet so many interesting and wonderful people! It's never boring or mundane and I grow with every transaction.
I have a background in marketing and client services, coming from the hotel/tourism industry. I'm also married to a USMC Veteran, so I'm very familiar with the challenges of moving and buying/selling homes. I believe these personal experiences allow me to better understand and, subsequently, assist my clients.
