Community Involvement

  • Community involvement is a cornerstone of my personal and professional life. My husband serves as Vice President of Ralph Easterwood Wings for Warriors, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and relief to first responders and their families in Henry County, Georgia. This organization, founded by the late Pastor Ralph Easterwood, has been instrumental in supporting our local heroes, including police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel, especially during times of injury or loss. I actively participate in various Wings for Warriors events, such as the annual benefit ride, which raises funds to support these brave men and women who serve our community. Being involved in this cause allows me to give back to those who dedicate their lives to our safety and well-being. This commitment to community service mirrors the dedication and care I bring to my real estate clients, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need throughout their home-buying or selling journey.   • When I'm not helping clients buy and sell homes, I'm all about making the most of life with my family. I have a sweet and super-verbal two-year-old daughter who loves music and art. As a mom, I enjoy seeing the world through her eyes and creating special memories together--whether we're dancing in the living room or exploring new places. I also believe in creating balance in life. Taking planned family vacations, especially to the beach, allows me to recharge and bring fresh energy to my work. That said, my clients are always my top priority. Whether I'm in the office or out of town, my dedicated team and I ensure that someone is always readily available to answer your questions, guide you through the process, and provide top-notch service. Travel is a huge passion of mine--I love exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures. It inspires me to bring creative solutions and renewed focus to my clients' real estate journeys. At the heart of it all, I'm motivated by the idea of leaving a legacy for my daughter and showing her the value of hard work, kindness, and chasing big dreams.

    It was a pleasure working with Courtney and the "Shannon sells team". The process from start to finish was easy and they were very knowledgeable. Courtney hired a professional photographer who took amazing pictures of our home and she marketed our home incredibly well resulting in several showing requests the same day the home was listed. By day 3 we had an offer above asking price. Courtney priced our home just right and when the first two contracts fell through on the buyer's end, she got us a new offer the same week each time! Our home sold quickly for a great price! I highly recommend Courtney and her team.

During our showings, they fell in love with a home that checked every box—but the market was competitive.       5) How did you get started in Real Estate?

      I got into real estate back in 2008 because I wanted something different—a career that gave me the flexibility to be in control of my time and income. What really drew me in was the opportunity. In real estate, there’s no ceiling on how much you can accomplish. The harder you work, the more you can achieve—not just financially, but in helping people reach their goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that every deal I close represents someone’s dream coming true, whether it’s buying their first home or selling a property to start their next chapter. Real estate gave me the chance to combine my drive and entrepreneurial spirit with my love for connecting with people, and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do something I truly love.
