Community Involvement
Community involvement is a cornerstone of my personal and professional life. My husband serves as Vice President of Ralph Easterwood Wings for Warriors, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and relief to first responders and their families in Henry County, Georgia. This organization, founded by the late Pastor Ralph Easterwood, has been instrumental in supporting our local heroes, including police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel, especially during times of injury or loss. I actively participate in various Wings for Warriors events, such as the annual benefit ride, which raises funds to support these brave men and women who serve our community. Being involved in this cause allows me to give back to those who dedicate their lives to our safety and well-being. This commitment to community service mirrors the dedication and care I bring to my real estate clients, ensuring they receive the support and guidance they need throughout their home-buying or selling journey. For more information about Wings for Warriors and how you can get involved, please visit their official website at wings4warriors.org.
HOBBIES/INTEREST
When I'm not helping clients buy and sell homes, I'm all about making the most of life with my family. I have a sweet and super-verbal two-year-old daughter who loves music and art. As a mom, I enjoy seeing the world through her eyes and creating special memories together--whether we're dancing in the living room or exploring new places. I also believe in creating balance in life. Taking planned family vacations, especially to the beach, allows me to recharge and bring fresh energy to my work. That said, my clients are always my top priority. Whether I'm in the office or out of town, my dedicated team and I ensure that someone is always readily available to answer your questions, guide you through the process, and provide top-notch service. Travel is a huge passion of mine--I love exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures. It inspires me to bring creative solutions and renewed focus to my clients' real estate journeys. At the heart of it all, I'm motivated by the idea of leaving a legacy for my daughter and showing her the value of hard work, kindness, and chasing big dreams.
FAMILY
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I'm happily married and proud to be a mom to my two-year-old daughter, who fills my days with laughter and creativity. I'm also blessed to have two adult stepsons who inspire me in different ways. Balancing family life with my career has taught me the value of patience, hard work, and creating meaningful connections--all qualities I bring into my real estate business. My family motivates me to help others find a place they can call home and make their own lasting memories.

We were completely satisfied and thankful for the work Courtney did for us. She fought to get us the best price for our home and had extensive knowledge on what the fair market value was, and how to proceed with purchasing our new land . We are truly grateful and thankful for everything she did to assist us with this sale . My husband and I both felt like she knew what was important to us and she knew how to make it happen. We will definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking to buy or sell..??
1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Purchasing a home is an exciting journey, but preparation is key to making the process smooth and successful. Here’s my best advice for buyers:
Know Your Budget
Get pre-approved for a mortgage before you start shopping. This not only helps you understand what you can afford but also shows sellers you're a serious buyer.
Identify Your Priorities
Make a list of your must-haves and deal-breakers. Think about location, home size, layout, and features that align with your lifestyle and future plans.
Work with an Experienced REALTOR®
A knowledgeable agent can guide you through the process, help you find the right home, and negotiate the best deal. Real estate markets move fast, so having an expert on your side is crucial.
Be Ready to Act Quickly
In competitive markets, homes can sell quickly. Once you find the home you love, be prepared to make an offer.
Don’t Skip the Inspection
Even if a home looks perfect, a professional inspection is a must. It helps uncover potential issues and ensures you’re making a sound investment.
Think Long-Term
Consider your future plans and how the home fits into them. Will it meet your needs in 5 or 10 years?
Stay Flexible
The process can come with surprises, so keep an open mind and be willing to adjust your expectations if necessary.
I’m here to guide you every step of the way and make your home-buying experience as stress-free and rewarding as possible!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Selling your home can be both exciting and overwhelming, but with the right preparation and strategy, you can maximize your results. Here’s my best advice for sellers:
Price It Right from the Start
Overpricing can turn away buyers, while underpricing may leave money on the table. Work with a knowledgeable REALTOR® to determine the best price based on market trends, comparable sales, and your home’s unique features.
Focus on First Impressions
Curb appeal matters. Make sure the exterior of your home is clean, well-maintained, and inviting. Small updates like fresh paint, landscaping, and a welcoming entryway can make a big impact.
Declutter and Stage Your Home
A clean, decluttered home allows buyers to envision themselves living there. Consider staging to highlight your home’s best features and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Make Necessary Repairs
Fix any obvious issues before listing. Small repairs, like leaky faucets, squeaky doors, or chipped paint, can make a big difference in how your home is perceived.
Highlight Your Home’s Best Features
Showcase what makes your home special—whether it’s a spacious kitchen, a large backyard, or recent upgrades. Your agent can help market these features effectively.
Be Flexible with Showings
The more accessible your home is for potential buyers, the faster it’s likely to sell. Keep your schedule flexible for showings and make sure the house is always in showing-ready condition.
Understand the Market
Real estate markets vary, so it’s important to know whether you’re in a buyer’s market, seller’s market, or a balanced market. This will influence your pricing and strategy.
Work with an Expert REALTOR®
An experienced agent can guide you through the entire process, from pricing and marketing to negotiating and closing. They’ll make sure you get the best value for your home.
Selling a home is a big step, but with the right approach, you can achieve your goals quickly and effectively. I’m here to help every step of the way!
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients throughout my real estate career. Each client’s journey is unique, and I’m proud to tailor my expertise to meet their individual needs. Here are some of the client types I’ve worked with:
First-Time Homebuyers
Guiding first-time buyers through the process is one of my specialties. I make sure they feel informed and confident every step of the way, from pre-approval to closing.
Move-Up Buyers
Many of my clients are looking to sell their current home and upgrade to a larger or more suitable property. I help them navigate the process of selling and buying simultaneously for a seamless transition.
Sellers
Whether it’s selling a family home or an investment property, I work closely with sellers to ensure their property is marketed effectively, priced strategically, and sold for top dollar.
Investors
I’ve worked with investors seeking income-generating properties, whether it’s rental homes, flips, or long-term investments. I help identify the right opportunities and provide guidance to maximize returns.
Relocation Clients
Moving to a new area can be overwhelming, but I specialize in helping relocation clients get acclimated and find the perfect home in the Metro Atlanta area, from Henry County to surrounding regions.
Luxury Buyers and Sellers
I’ve worked with clients buying or selling high-end properties, providing a tailored and discreet experience with a focus on attention to detail and results.
Renters Transitioning to Buyers
For clients who are renting but planning to buy, I provide resources and guidance to prepare them for homeownership, including credit improvement tips and saving strategies.
No matter the client type, my goal is always the same: to provide exceptional service, expert advice, and a stress-free experience. If you’re looking to buy or sell, I’d love to help you achieve your real estate goals!
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One recent transaction that stands out involved a young family buying their first home. They were relocating to the Metro Atlanta area and were unfamiliar with the local market. They reached out to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure about where to start.
From the beginning, I focused on making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We started with a thorough consultation to discuss their needs, budget, and timeline. After getting them pre-approved with a trusted lender, I curated a list of homes in neighborhoods that matched their lifestyle and future goals.
During our showings, they fell in love with a home that checked every box—but the market was competitive. I guided them through crafting a strong, strategic offer that stood out, even in a multiple-offer situation. Once their offer was accepted, I stayed on top of every detail, from inspections to negotiations, ensuring the process stayed on track.
The best part? Seeing their excitement on closing day as they received the keys to their dream home. Hearing them say, “We couldn’t have done this without you” reminded me why I love what I do.
This transaction was special because it combined everything I value in real estate: problem-solving, personal connections, and helping people achieve a major milestone in their lives. It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worth it!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got into real estate back in 2008 because I wanted something different—a career that gave me the flexibility to be in control of my time and income. The idea of working a 9-to-5 just didn’t excite me. I wanted the freedom to create my own schedule while building a business where the effort I put in directly reflected the results I achieved.
What really drew me in was the opportunity. In real estate, there’s no ceiling on how much you can accomplish. The harder you work, the more you can achieve—not just financially, but in helping people reach their goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that every deal I close represents someone’s dream coming true, whether it’s buying their first home or selling a property to start their next chapter.
Real estate gave me the chance to combine my drive and entrepreneurial spirit with my love for connecting with people, and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do something I truly love.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Absolutely! I’ve been a licensed REALTOR® since 2008 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shorter University. My education in business has given me a strong foundation in marketing, negotiation, and strategic planning—skills I use daily to benefit my clients.
In addition to my experience, I stay committed to learning and growing in the real estate industry. I’ve attended specialized training sessions and gained advanced knowledge in client relationship management and technology tools that help streamline the buying and selling process.
As the leader of the Close with Courtney Real Estate Team, I also mentor and guide other agents, sharing my expertise and ensuring they’re equipped to provide the same high level of service I strive for. Leading a team has deepened my understanding of the market and sharpened my skills in managing complex transactions and building client relationships.
With over 16 years of experience, I bring a unique blend of education, hands-on training, and leadership to every transaction. Whether you’re buying or selling, you can trust that you’re working with someone who’s fully prepared to help you achieve your real estate goals.
