ZillowVERIFIEDStarted off great but went south fast, no pun intended. Was a first time buyer who was desperate at the time, and he took advantage of that. I had gotten my first full time job 2 weeks prior, and he referred us to his aEURoebuddyaEUR? to get me approved for a mortgage. First red flag. The seller was upset with the low appraisal and communicated to Cory that if we did an under the table off the record cash side deal he would move forward. The fact Cory communicated this to me and was obvious about how he himself legally couldnt say too much is another red flag. He knew he could lose his license if he had put anything like that in writing. On top of this, he failed to mention there was a prior lien on the property that was still active when the sale was completed, which caused headaches down the road when I went to sell the property myself. Overall, he initially comes off as a sincere, knowledgeable guy, but hell do anything to complete a sale.

Was responsive and took the time to make sure we understood everything and was honest with us if there was something questionable we should be looking at.
