What clients say about this agent....
Corrie has worked incredibly hard for me, from the moment we met, by chance, when buying a new house was just a pipe dream through closing! She has unique insight into the ages and stages of house hunting, and juggled my many priorities and worries along the way. She is empathetic, responsive, and deeply invested and informed. She continues to make this process easier with unique referrals and timely recommendations.
We had just closed our first home with Corrie. As a first home buyer we had no idea and no knowledge at all. She understood our needs and requirements and took care of all of our concerns very well from the beginning and we could find a perfect home for us. She explained every step exactly and clearly so we could move forward confidently. Her youtube tutorial helped a lot too. We contacted her by text, email and phone call for each unknown word, procedures and our status like thousand times during our process. She was very patient and her responses were always prompt and clear. She made our experience easier and smoother than we expected. Thank you so much Corrie!
We worked with Corrie to sell our home and buy a new home. We have great income but we initially ran into challenges with lenders based on our credit scores which were hit by things not our fault. Corrie connected us with someone to clean up our credit score by addressing those items! We were able to find a fantastic home; large enough for our needs as we have kids and grandkids spilling out our condo. While helping us find our home and negotiating in the middle of the COVID-19/CoronaVirus crisis, she sold our condo twice. Our first buyer backed out and she sold it to another buyer almost immediately. Corrie was amazing; answering all our questions, getting the answers when they didn't have anything to do with her, such as a loan or escrow question. No matter what our concerns are, she helped to get the solution and as she says, "No question is stupid, only the unasked". Corrie also has these really great video's (YouTube: Real Estate 2 Financial Freedom) on the process of home buying and selling that are really helpful. Even now that we've closed she's connected to someone to help us with our retirement and long term care planning. She is an amazing agent, resource and person! The only thing we could possibly want is her beautiful dog! LOL. We love her! Everyone should use her!!!
What a crazy year this has been! We sold our town home in Pomona at the end of last year and purchased in Idaho this year. Corrie was suggested to us by a neighbor. I'm so glad that she was the one who sold our home because she is so easy to work with. She gave us the best advice. We followed her instructions and our home sold quickly. In our whole process of selling a home and buying a new one in a different state, I found out that our attitude makes such a difference. Listen to your realtors, they know what they are talking about. They want to help you sell. Corrie did just that. The way she worked so hard to sell our home was impressive. It was really hard to tell that she was working on selling any other home. But she was. Thank you so much Corrie. You made the selling process such a breeze.
Corrie Sommers, an agent at Compass, has been my agent for almost four months. At first, things were great. She's pleasant and knows a lot of tricks of the trade. The problems first started when I realized that her way of communicating was very misleading. Her answers to my questions were often vague and ambiguous. Without getting into the details, an example of this was a conversation that went something like:me: Is the buyer was aware of XYZ?Corrie: I don't know what the agent told her.me: Is her agent aware of XYZ?Corrie: We talked about many things.me: Specifically did you tell her agent XYZ?At this point, she emailed the buyer's agent XYZ and forwarded me a copy. Only then did she reply "It was sent". That's just one of many examples. Because her use of language has been so misleading, I've had to resort to communicating only through text and email so there's a record of what was said. I've also had no choice but to triple check everything she does. I've found significant errors in a number of the contracts she sent me to sign.To make matters worse, one day she accidentally sent me an email she intended to send to her mentor "Greg", in which she criticizes me and expresses a desire to drop me as my agent. That was a month ago. She has never expressed any remorse for this, and her only "apology" was roughly "I'm sorry you received that." I asked her to follow through and stop representing me; she refused. I then emailed her broker, Sam Kraemer, to see what he could do. He offered no apology nor remorse either. It also turns out her broker is a lawyer and general counsel for Compass. The worst of all is we've had two offers and both have fallen through. I believe this is because she's somehow leading the buyers to believe I won't move out in time.I've asked her to step down multiple times, and she refuses. There's only one week left on our listing agreement, I've asked again to have her stop representing me, and again she insists on holding out until the end of the agreement. My deal with Corrie and Compass has been a terrible experience, and I am counting the days to be free.UPDATE: I contacted her broker again to ask to have Corrie step down. He was on vacation, but I got a response from Fran Reynolds, a VP and Branch Manager at Compass. Fran got Corrie to agree to cancel the listing agreement. Still no apology or remorse for Corrie's behavior, but I am grateful to be done with this experience.
Extremely happy with Corrie! When we met Corrie we felt very comfortable with her immediately. She took the time to go through our list of must she explained how the processed worked and started searching right away. Always on top of things, as soon as a new house would hit the market, she would call us to setup an appointment and made herself available on our schedule. As we visited multiple places per day at times, Corrie understood very quickly what we wanted. She found the perfect house for us within 2 month. She negotiated, requested everything we wanted from the seller and we closed in 30 days. Great experience, we highly recommend Corrie.
Corrie Sommers did an amazing job handling our real estate transaction. She navigated us through a very complex situation but in the end, we could not have asked for a better outcome. Her expertise, availability and overall support during this journey was key in our success to secure our home that was meant to be. Thank you Corrie...you ROCK! ??????????????????
Corrie worked with my family to purchase a home in Littleton, Ma. She was very knowledgable about the area and freely shared that knowledge. I would definately refer my friends and family to her. Her initiative and drive was if she was purchasing a home for her own family. Well done!
Corrie worked patiently with me for almost a year to find the right home for me. We looked in several different areas to find the best location as well as price point and size home.
My boys and i accidentally meet with Corrie searching for home to buy ourselves , in the middle of a meteoric and insanely difficult housing market for buyers . We introduce ourselves her initially based on positive positive and professional appearance, and couldnt have been more satisfied with the process. While the process of home buying was much more difficult than wed imagined, based on the levels of competitiveness, Corrie gave us excellent guidance, unflagging availability, and deep knowledge about a really wide range of homes that we looked at. Particular high points were helping us extricate ourselves from lander agent who ended up behaving in a really sketchy manner after wed made an offer, and in helping us to understand our right as buy and find a common ground for both of us to work on to the closing on Jan.27th 2017, I wouldnt hesitate to work with Corrie again or give her anything but the highest recommendation.
