I had been thinking about moving to St Michaels for years - I loved the small-town vibe, the restaurants and bars, and mostly the sailing! So, last year i was finally ready for the move and I searched around on line and ultimately found Cornelia and chose her to help me find the right place, mostly based on references from friends.And Cornelia was a great decision! She helped me purchase the perfect place, and although she was the seller's agent on the property I ultimately bought, she still guided me through the process and helped my dream become a reality. She still helps me today with references to service providers like the best electrician in the area and I would unhesitatingly refer her either as a buyers' agent or to sell a property. This review is two years too late, but better late, than never! We used Cornelia as a buyer's agent when we moved to St. Michaels in 2012, and again as a seller's agent in 2018. She knows the market and knows the area! You never feel rushed when she comes to the house. She responds to texts and phone calls. Even after we purchased our home in SM, she would stop in if she was in the neighborhood. She STRONGLY recommended we stage our house for sale. Many people could take offense to this, because belongings are personal, and while I thought our home was pared down, it was NOT. We were grateful for her recommendations and had a lovely home to show. Hence, when moving to our new home in Bend, Oregon, we were very careful with what we brought into the house.
