You answered my questions along the way, offered words of encouragement when things began to slow down a bit, and you helped me through some panicked moments because you understood this was all new to me. There were plenty of times that I wanted to change my mind, mostly because I was afraid to let go and didn't trust anyone to love my home the way my family and I did. This was where an entire family (20 people or more) shared every Christmas together, had Easter egg hunts, celebrated birthdays, carved pumpkins, spent summers in the pool, fished in the pond, camped in the yard, etc. - this was a loss an entire family would feel! But you helped keep me on track and reminded me of the freedom I would find in moving forward. While I'm still not quite over feeling that loss, I have started to feel the freedom in giving my life and my time back to myself and my family, rather than constantly maintaining my house and yard.
