About Cody Newsom

Cody hails from Maryville where he was raised on the tried and true small town values of integrity, hard work, and service to others. After graduating he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 20 years. Residing in the local Johnson County area with his three amazing and energetic boys, during his downtime he can be found fishing with his children, hiking in the local parks, or hitting the course for a round of golf at Mules National in Warrensburg. In the 2021, Cody decided to continue serving the needs of his local community by joining the Action Realty team in Warrensburg. Cody was amazing! He was quick to respond, knew what he was talking about, and didnt try to force that dumpy first house I looked at on me. Not only did he help explain everything to me, but he even went as far as to show me how to operate the lawnmower that came with the house. Beyond that, since we are now neighbors, he offered support and help if needed, especially since my husband has been deployed this whole time. Plus we closed on my birthday and he bought me flowers.

Cody was great through the whole process! He helped us navigate the process every step of the way from finding a lender to home inspections/appraisals, and following up to keep us informed the whole time. It was definitely a process but cody helped to make things easier and make sure we knew what was required of us at every step along the way.
