About Cindy and Farrah Welu
Cindy and Farrah have over 26 years of combined Real Estate experience, with Cindy being a leader in the industry since 2000. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Make your list of Must Have's and Want to Have's.. Then you can check off as you tour homes with the goal of getting all the must have's and most of the want have's. Have your real estate agent verify he value through a market analysis for the neighborhood and area, if you love the home, always put your best offer forward and ask questions the entire process - from first meeting to closing and beyond - that is what we are here to help you with!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Who you work with, matters. Hire someone who puts your goals first and does all they can to take the heavy lifting and stress of the sale off you. Make sure your home shows it's best, is priced competitively and is promoted with the largest exposure to the most possible buyers.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Our team has worked with buyers and sellers, relocation clients, news personalities, professional athletes, executives, first time home buyers and sellers, new construction, luxury, waterfront, acreage and investment. Personally I have focused on the listings and working with sellers for the past decade as my expertise and value is in marketing, staging and experience. We always say at our team meetings after a closing - they were awesome - let's go find more awesome people! (so when you work with us, by default - you are awesome!)
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently just helped a widower sell his home. It was clearly an emotional decision for him and he admitted he thought he knew more about the process than he did. I reassured him that he wasn't alone, there are so many moving parts that it's very difficult to navigate on your own, and that we will do as much of it as we can for him. I gave him the facts, listened to his goals and needs and we staged his home to show and shine it's best, promoted and had over 60 buyers look at the home, negotiated our way through some inspection challenges and got him to and through closing. The kinds words, huge smile and appreciation have made my entire month. It makes me so happy seeing my clients so happy.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I had 3 small children and I wanted to get them out of daycare and needed a more flexible schedule... once I started, I fell in the love with the job and didn't look back.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have specialty training in marketing, luxury, technology and staging.
