I have been a full service, full time real estate agent for 14 years. My first 4 years as an agent were in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. I relocated to Florida in Oct 2011. I specialize in residential resale and new construction sales. I work with all buyers from the beginning to qualify them for their purchase until the day they close on their new home. When you hire me, you hire a team of professionals who are here to help you with your particular real estate transaction. All transactions are different and can present different types of challenges. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Do your homework. Work with an agent that is familiar with the area you are looking in and understands the type of financing that you will need
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Take the emotion out of your sale. You love your home. Not all buyers will feel the same way about your home as you do. Work with a professional that understand your market and listen to the advice they give. It will go a long way in a successful sale.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
1st time home buyers. Sellers, Relocation clients, Second/vacation home buyers, investors. Veterans with VA loans. Disabled veterans who have special needs in a home. Commercial and agricultural properties.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We had a single mom who was looking for a home for her and her son. We matched her with a lender who could help her and was sensitive to the needs of this buyer. It was a long stretch to the closing of her first home. Several challenges arose but we finally had a successful closing. It was very gratifying to help her to make a permanent home for her and her son.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I owned a painting company for 20 years and began to invest. As an investor I realized I really enjoyed the process and the people I was working with, both Realtors and clients alike.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am very familiar with the loan process after 14 years of working with lenders. I have special training for relocation clients and a SFR certification ( Short Sale and Foreclosure agent). Experience has been my best training. Not all transactions are the same. I am constantly learning as sellers and buyer's needs, loan requirements and the market changes.
