Moving back to the DFW area from the Houston area presented me with many challengesaEUR"the regular kind that everyone experiences with buying/selling a home and my own personal challenges. Cindy, however, instantly became my Heroine in Heels through it all! (Seriously, you should see what this Wonder Woman accomplished in a pair of heels effortlessly and gracefully!) Before meeting Cindy in person for the first time, we had exchanged the regular get-to-know-you emails and had a few phone conversations. She was referred to me by a friend in the DFW area who I had not seen in a while due to the distance, life, COVID, etc. Boy do I owe my friend endless hugs and margaritas for life after working with Cindy! Within a very short time and after a few FaceTime/virtual showings, Cindy understood my home style, needs/wants, interested areas, any amenities within the community or nearby, and knew things I didnt even think about that were important to me. There was a stall in the home search beyond my control, but Cindy never gave up on me or treated me any less important. Before my first trip to DFW, Cindy had whittled down the areas so well and lined up some wonderful homes that the first trip never had a wasted moment. I even extended my visit (and always ended up extending my visits) because of her finds. Plus shes super fun to be around! Her advice is priceless. She never talked me into paying more for a home to complete a sale, would advise me the max to spend on certain homes, and when it came time to the offer portion of a home I quickly learned to listen to the advice she gave to me on that specific home with any unique circumstances. Cindy is magical! And though it would be pretty neat to say the magic is in her heels, it comes from her heart and intelligence. From buying a home to all of the various trades/services/businesses she recommended along the way, Cindy always had my best interest at heart. I wasnt just another commission. She treated me with compassion, grace, respect, and so much more than I could have ever expected.Cindy is a rare treasure and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. We contacted and interviewed a number of different realtors before selecting Cindy Giles, and she delivered top-shelf client service in every respect, exceeding our expectations. One of our biggest concerns involved whether to make certain home repairs in advance of putting the house on the market. Cindy has a list of reliable contractors that she knows can perform at an optimal level at a reasonable price. This included inside/outside painting, window replacement, landscaping, fence replacement, siding repair/replacement, house cleaning, carper repair, and even trash disposal. She provided good advice on how to manage the repairs, packing and moving process. When the house cleaner did not do an adequate job, Cindy identified the issues, and helped us get the issue resolved. When the neighbor complained about the fence replacement, she gave us good advice on how to handle the situation. Cindy ultimately presented us with several competing offers on the property, helped us select the best offer, and negotiated a backup contract for the second best offer in case something went wrong with the primary buyer. She kept us informed of the progress, such as the inspection, appraisal, and what to expect at closing. She sent us emails along the way that told us what to expect at each stage of the sale process. She was always responsive and worked diligently to represent us, answer our questions, sort through hiccups that were not expected, and provided great advice. We think she did a great job, and would use her again. We highly recommend her!!
