About Christopher Wands

Originally from Port Washington, New York, Christopher Wands grew up learning the real estate business first hand. His mother, a top Long Island agent, put him to work as her assistant at a young age and his path to professional real estate success was set. A fourth generation real estate professional, both his great-grandparents and grandparents were developers and contractors. Christopher's younger brother has also followed in the footsteps of there mother and is a member of the #1 real estate team in Manhattan The Rubin Team. Christopher quickly learned that to be successful in business, the focus must always remain on serving the true needs of the customer with honesty and sincerity. Always putting the needs of his clients first, Christopher prides himself on treating each person that he works with as if they were his family, listening to their needs and providing the highest level of service possible. His knowledge of the local markets, especially Fisher Island, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Downtown, Brickell, Coral Gables, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Ft. Lauderdale. His business acumen allows him to match clients with the right home and negotiate effectively on their behalf with every transaction. During his first year of working for Douglas Elliman Wands, completed an incredible 35 transactions. Christopher was the recipient of the 2016 Douglas Elliman South Florida Rookie of the year. Prior to earning his real estate license, Christopher was a top sales performer at one of the largest watersports gear manufacturers in the world. Breaking sales records along the way, he spent a year and a half outfitting high-end resorts with watersports gear in such luxury brands as Resorts World Bimini, Sir Richard Branson's private island Necker Island, Moskito Island, the Grand Lucayan, KS Water Sports in Bermuda and others. In addition to his real estate business, Christopher is active in investing and startups and has founded and invested in his own company. Giving back to his community through charitable organizations such as the Make A Wish Foundation gives him a sense of pride in his community, and when he is not working, you can find him on the water, enjoying all the activities that the South Florida lifestyle provides. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and was a member of his college sailing team at Salve Regina University. He makes his home in Miami Shores with his Fiance Emily and there two french bulldogs Louie and Elle.

Marco is simply an incredible person and also an incredible realtor. He's helped a dream of ours become a reality with a part time home in Miami. We are self-admittedly picky people with limited time to view properties. In the one day that we had availability to look at homes while in town, he showed us 12+ properties. We were not expecting to find 'the one' but we did on the very second showing. It was extremely complicated to secure with hurdle after hurdle that lasted for months aEUR" but Marco managed to get this done for us with the talent of a gold-medal-winning Olympic pole vaulter.
