About Christopher Rocca

Christopher Rocca and David Rosen work together as Home Team Santa Fe at Sotheby's International Realty. David works as a listing broker and a buyer's broker while Christopher has recently transitioned to become a referral broker. Along with a focused and detail-oriented business style, Christopher's love of art and culture is at the heart of what he shares with his clients and brings to his work. Christopher grew up in the Bay Area of California, and moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Reed College. For many years he was co-owner of The Genoa, a remarkable Northern Italian restaurant, well known up and down the West Coast. Over 25 years ago he moved to Santa Fe and became immersed in the vibrant arts scene, growing to richly know the textures of Northern New Mexico life and its history. In 1993, Christopher moved to New York City for a "sabbatical" to further his love of art and study painting at the Studio School in Greenwich Village. While in New York, he headed an innovative public health care initiative at St. Vincent's Hospital, working to reduce tuberculosis among homeless people. In 1996, Christopher couldn't stay away from New Mexico any longer. He returned to his home in Santa Fe, managed the Critical Care units at St. Vincent Hospital and rekindled his love of the Northern New Mexican landscape. Working with David Rosen as one half of the dynamic duo of "Home Team Santa Fe", they have achieved great success working with Buyers and Sellers across the Greater Santa Fe area. Excellent experience on the sale of our house (we'd previously worked with them twice before on the sale of a lot and purchase of a house). Home Team Santa Fe has up to date knowledge of the local market, had a buyer who was looking for the kind of house we were selling, was great at staging the house and having it photographed beautifully, and flexible on pricing based on a healthy discussion with us. They helped us navigate thru the process and helped close the deal.

Christopher and David were wonderful to work with. They were both so patient with us, as they showed us dozens and dozens of homes in Santa Fe (we're kind of picky!). And when we finally settled on the home we eventually purchased, they were so helpful in negotiating all the details of the transaction. I was selling my house in a tough market...but David and Christopher persevered. They were knowledgeable but reasonable about what work, clean up and improvements needed to be made to maximize the market value and then followed through with the marketing efforts needed to sell the house. There were continuously dedicated with open houses and meeting buyers for showings. 4 months after listing I had my buyer...I would highly recommend using them!!
