Christine graduated with a Masters in Business Administration and has applied that knowledge to run a successful real estate business. With over 15 years experience from one end of the real estate spectrum to the other; managing a financial institution, originating mortgage loans, sales manager at an escrow/title company, assistant to an appraiser, flipping houses, staging houses and owning a home inspection company allows her the tools she needs to guide her clients through a seamless and enjoyable transaction. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
You do NOT need 20% down to purchase a home. There are programs that are available for buyers with $0 down or 3.5% down. I work with the best lenders, call me and I will be happy to pass that information along.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Having a pre-home inspection is key to the sale of your home. The reason behind it is that you eliminate the guess work as well as the ability for the buyer to base their offer on items that are only maintenance items, not a true issue. I work with the best inspectors, call me and I will be happy to pass that information along.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with investors, first time home buyers, first responders and military.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Every transaction is unique but working with the military allows me to be more creative because I have to find multiple ways to show houses for the buyers to purchase because they are out of state and even out of the country. I love the challenge!!!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I have been around Real Estate most of my adult career and finally decided to JUMP!! My only regret is that I didn't get in much sooner.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have been in banking and worked as a mortgage lender so I understand what paperwork is needed and WHY. I have worked in an escrow company which has allowed me to assist with completing the escrow documents for buyers. I have assisted an appraiser by compiling appraiser reports so I know how to analyze them. I also am part owner of a home inspection company which has allowed me the training as I walk through houses with buyers to look at the homes a little more carefully. Lastly, I have had my own staging company which has allowed me to stage and consult sellers as to what buyers are looking for and how to make their home feel more appealing than the competition!
