This was by no means a smooth deal. Chris was not up front about the 7% take or the 6 month contract between seller and agent in the agreement. Our bad for not reading the agreement all the way through. We had plenty of interest as the cottage would sell itself on charm. Agent took 1st offer too quickly on someone who had no chance of owning a home (per 3 different lenders) and 2 months later..no buyer. Then we had to wade through 2 more months to the point that we had to find a suitable tenant because of having to make 2 house payments for 4 months if the house did not sell. Agent however did kick in 1 house payment back to us after the home sold. There always has to be one bad deal. It was ours.
