Christopher Marsh, REALTOR(R), has been passionate about real estate for as long as he can remember. Since 2005, this native of Strafford County, NH, has been involved in sales and marketing of investment properties, land and subdivision development and, of course, home buyer and seller representation. His grounding in the business began years before he obtained a license to practice. Raised in a real-estate family, Chris began developing his skills at the dining table, listening to and questioning his parents. His late father, Richard Marsh, worked as a Real Estate Lawyer and worked with one of the largest real estate developers in Southern New Hampshire. Chris' mother, Barbara Marsh, was (and still is) a top producing agent in the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. (To date, Barbara has closed more than a quarter-billion dollars in sales, starting in the business 35 years ago). These table conversations often centered on the daily rigors of real estate practice; his parents' trials, tribulations, and, of course, their many victories helping people achieve important real estate objectives. Local fishing trips with father to the region's numerous lakes and ponds helped grow Chris' appreciation for and understanding of the delicate "eco" relationship between the unimproved, natural landscape and its development upon which the citizenry depends for housing, business, jobs, and healthy living. He credits those father-son expeditions for the passion with which he now pursues land management issues surrounding public and private land use. It is at the heart of his keen interest in subdivision development, a field of practice also largely learned from his father. Ironically, perhaps, given his parents' professional endeavors, Chis did not pursue a career in real estate after college but chose instead computer software sales. An aggressive team player in school sports, Chris' sporting prowess helped him thrive in the highly competitive environment of software sales. He became his company's number one producer. Winning in sales strengthened his "can-do" attitude, a success mindset that, when paired with a caring nature, strengthened Chris' ability to listen to, understand and satisfy clients' needs ethically and compassionately. His mother-inspired mantra is simply this: "do everything within my power to deliver the result clients seek and in so doing exceed their expectations". Chris understands the real estate profession is not just about helping people buy and sell houses. For him, it involves taking an active interest in the dreams, hopes and aspirations of others. Today, he is part Marsh Realtors @ Keller Williams with his mother, Barbara. Together they are a dynamo of youthful energy and sage counsel that delivers results their clients want. As a practicing REALTOR(R) pro, Chris prides himself on his fiduciary commitment to principals, counting client communications and contract negotiations among his strong suits. These and other skills he continually strives to better himself through continuing professional education. He believes that always adding to his store of knowledge allows him to offer clients the best possible experience in an always changing real estate environment. Chris appreciates the many unique benefits of living in Strafford County, NH, with its unmatched beauty, culture, and amazing dining, entertainment and recreational venues, all of which he enjoys sharing, especially with newcomers to the area. And, as an active member of his community, Chris devotes a measure of his time to charitable causes. Currently, with the commitments of a local developer and area business owners, Chris is exploring new opportunities in underwritten affordable housing for New Hampshire's wounded service veterans. Whether he is working solo or joining Mom, Chris celebrates his professional activity, not as a job, a profession, or career, but as a lifestyle that "expresses my passion to be in the service of others".
