What clients say about this agent....
Chris was fantastic in helping my sister and I sell our father's house he owned for 33 years. He was extremely professional and attuned to our needs at all times. Chris was always available and took charge in organizing what needed to be done before putting house on the market. I highly recommend Chris for all your real estate needs.
Chris sold our home of 30 years in Menlo Park in 2016 - guided us through the many steps to get it ready to sell and out on the market as fast as possible. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable, just great to work with. Sympathetic and attentive and creative. Knows the area and the market. Have recommended him to others!

don't recommend sales folks often but given the experience, and challenges we all face in this market, I feel compelled to recommend the agent we used to find and close on our new home.Summary: 80+ houses viewed in 6 months and we won on our first bid despite being 3rd amongst 10 offers (and no I wasn't an all cash kind of guy). I didn't need someone to help find me a place. Just needed someone to keep me from making a mistake and to make it happen when it was time. Chris exceeded my expectations in both areas. He is very technical, saved me from emotionally bidding on 3 properties that would've ended up as money pits, determined the best overall strategy/offer to secure the home, held my hand through the entire close process, and continues to offer up recommendations for various needs. Most of his listings/clients are high end but that didn't stop him from treating a common guy like me w/the same care he would someone bringing a multiple times higher commission check.Feel free to PM me if you want additional info on my experience w/Chris being my agent or in general. (note: he only works the peninsula as to not deviate from his area of expertise)
Chris was absolutely a lifesaver during our hunt for a new home. We started our search looking in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos, Portola Valley, and Woodside and quickly learned that we had found ourselves an expert in the area. Chris immediately gauged what we were looking for and helped steer us in the right decision. He always seemed to be available just at the right time with the critical tidbit of information to help us with our decisions. Not only was Chris the perfect gentleman during the process, he was also a pleasure for us to get to know and made the whole process as stress free as possible. You cannot go wrong choosing him as an agent - we LOVE our home!!!
With the possible exception of the house itself, deciding to work with Chris was the best choice that my wife and I made during our search for a new home. He is plugged in and knowledgeable across all of the markets we were interested in, including Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos, Portola Valley and Woodside. Chris provided us with great information about demographics, market projections, school districts, and mortgage/tax implications. He has a great EQ, interacts well with sellers agents, and possesses excellent instincts. But even more importantly, he injected calm and experience into an otherwise stressful process, gently dissuading us from pulling the trigger on several homes which ultimately would not have been the best fit for our needs or would have required renovation beyond our budget and ambition. Ultimately, with Chris's deft negotiating, we were able to obtain our ideal home with the first offer that we placed. He is not only very responsive and professional, but also an extremely interesting and likable on a personal level. While I'm sure that we could have had a good ultimate outcome with another agent, with Chris the process was actually fun.

We were interested in buying a home in the Woodside/Menlo Park/Palo Alto/Portola Valley area, and a friend and colleague recommended Chris to us. Chris turned out to be extremely knowledgeable about this region and knew the various neighborhoods really well; for example, which blocks were likely to be noisier because they were closer to Caltrain, which blocks had good parks or farmers markerts within walking distance. In our case, we got very interested in properties in Portola Valley, and here too, Chris could tell us in great detail about Ladera, Portola Valley ranch, and other communities. In our visits to open house events, it was clear that the listing agents knew and respected Chris. This turned out to be the case for the house we eventually bought as well, and it was clear to us that this reputation allowed him to negotiate fairly on our behalf and get us in contract in the face of a competing offer. Chris has a very cool head on his shoulders and this was apparent as we went through the entire process of negotiating, inspections, and the loan process. He also knows the best lending institutions so that the one he recommended was the most efficient and had the most competitive rates (compared to 4 other banks we were checking out at the same time). To top it all, Chris is unfailingly courteous, has a great sense of humor, is always available (even at off hours in the evenings on weekdays), and thoroughly professional. Look no further, really - you will enjoy working with him as you go about looking for a home.
We were introduced to Chris through a glowing recommendation from a Stanford work colleague who bought a home in Redwood City. From the start Chris was incredibly perceptive and responsive to our needs and preferences finding a home. He also generously provided us with ample time to get introduced to the home purchase process, the various phases of it, and setting goals and expectations. His long experience as a realtor in this area has given him an outstanding knowledge of the local market in Woodside, Redwood City, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, and Mountainview. He also knows most realtors who were selling, which was very helpful in term of bidding strategies. When we bid for homes, his negotiation skills and experience were instrumental. And he continued to offer his skills and contacts after purchasing our home, which have proven incredibly helpful. Overall a powerful ally to have if you want to find your dream home and move into it gracefully.
