Born in Houston, Chris is a native Texan who has resided in the Austin-Round Rock area for over 30 years. He grew up passionately cheering on the Houston Oilers and followed his favorite team as they became the Tennessee Titans. Chris graduated from Round Rock ISD and attended Texas State University. He enjoys hiking, exploring Texas small towns, and being outdoors with his wife and three children. As a licensed Realtor with over 15 years of experience, Chris is passionate about all aspects of real estate including building, buying, selling and welcoming families that are new to Texas. Having school aged children himself, Chris understands the importance that families have in choosing a school and community that fits each family's individual needs. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Always buy a home with a Realtor and I would like that Realtor to be myself. There are so many pitfalls and loop holes and legalities that pop up during a contract. I want to protect your Earnest money, make sure you get the home at the best dollar per sqft and also keep everything legal and protect your family. I have a large list of vendors and inspectors to help us with the entire process. The best part is that all of my services to buyers is 100% free to you!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Dont sell your home for a full 6%. Thats 3% to the buyers agent and 3% to list. I will take a cut on the listing side making the total list 4.5%. That can be Thousands of dollars that you get to keep. With my listings you get the same fantastic service, MLS listing, professional flyers and photography, a sign in the yard, Cross marketing to hundreds of other Real Estate sites. Keep in mind MLS sells 85% of all houses. I want to keep you protected, sell for top dollar and save you money.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
For 15 years I have worked with every buyer and seller from 1st time home buyers to investors and even those looking for land, Farm, Ranch and even commercial. I facilitate all aspects of Real estate and I want to be your trusted Real Estate agent.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Every transaction is fun. All are different and they usually bring great pride and joy to my buyers and sellers.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
in 2003 i decided to take my passion for homes and land and sales and marry them into a profession.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am college educated, I grew up in the area and went to school in the area from elementary to college and I have been licensed for over 15 years selling hundreds of homes and making a lot of friends along the way.
