About Cheryl Messer

I am a lifelong resident of Washington and spent the first 18 years of my life raising and showing horses. My parents owned and operated Emerald Construction on Bainbridge Island and l grew up learning and working in the construction business. After graduating from High School on Bainbridge Island I earned an Applied Arts degree in Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Seattle. Prior to entering the real estate profession I worked for 8 years as the Advertising Manager at the corporate headquarters of Lumbermens/Pro Build in Olympia. During my career there l learned a great deal about time management, building materials and the competitive building industry. My marketing talents and knowledge of construction and building materials have been a great asset to my real estate career. I currently work full time as a Real Estate Agent. My experience covers all areas of businessaEUR"including Management, Sales, Marketing and Advertising/Graphic Design. In order to keep up with the changing real estate market I received my certification in short sale negotiations. In my spare time my husband Jerry and I enjoy the great outdoors. Hiking, fishing, camping, boating and snow skiing are at the top of our list. We chose to make Grays Harbor our home and in 2002 purchased property and built our home in Elma.
