I had to list my elderly mother's house for sale that she had lived in for 55 years and was my childhood home. There were some emotions that went along with the need to sell as well as a Power of Attorney situation.Cary handled the entire transaction with the utmost care and professionalism possible. His knowledge and expertise on all matters regarding listing, marketing, negotiation and closing made the entire process from start to finish as seamless as I could have hoped for.The first time he saw the house and we did a walk-through, he pointed out something that could get flagged by a home inspection and prepared me that it may need to be dealt with at some point. The breaker box in the house, although fully functional, had been recalled at some point so be prepared that that may need to be replaced or negotiated at some point. His knowledge of such matters saved me a surprise down the line and we were prepared to deal with it if needed (and we did).Cary also helped negotiate between two offers that came in at the same time to help maximize the selling price.Just a couple of examples of how he helped guide the entire process. There were many more. He exceeded all my expectations of what I was looking for in an agent.Added to that, the thing I appreciated most about him was his responsiveness. That is a pet peeve of mine when doing business with others. Cary personally answered every call or called me back within minutes if I had questions. Directly through his cell and not having to leave a message at a switchboard. Cary was recommended to me by a friend and it truned out that he had also done some transactions with some co-workers of mine a few years ago that I was not aware of before I reached out to him.
